Upcoming Agricultural Workshop on Poultry and 4-Legged Processing!

Please join us for an exciting and innovative FREE workshop about a successful Poultry and 4-legged processing on Martha’s Vineyard!

On Tuesday, May 14 from 1pm-2:30pm at The Hayloft, Bartlett’s Farm, we will hear from Richard Andre and Jeff Monroe of Martha’s Vinyard’s Island Grown Initiative (IGI) on their success with a local mobile processing solution for chickens and the process they are in of developing a 4-legged processing facility on-island. The poultry processing program has created an additional income of $70,000 for local farmers and has had a dramatic impact on local poultry production, allowing farmers and backyard growers to produce a safe and healthy product for retail sales.
