$500 ~ Sponsor a Raised Bed
Garden beds are the foundation for growth in the garden: for our harvest and for our children. By giving the gift of a raised bed you are helping Nantucket’s Farm to School program reach its greater potential, and creating space for new hands-on learning opportunities for local youth. Sponsor a raised bed and Plant A Name in Our Garden!
$250 ~ ‘Half Day in the Garden’ Lesson
Give the gift of experiential learning. On ‘early release’ school days, children grades 1-5 can sign up for a ‘Half Day in the Garden.’ Lessons help Nantucket students to make cross-curricula connections between sustainable agriculture and science, math and nutrition, as well as environmental stewardship and other aspects of healthy living.
Gifts of $250 or above will be recognized on a named leaf on the Giving Wall in the garden.
All gifts will receive a card addressed to your recipient and will be recognized on our website.
$100 ~ Garden Tools
When you give rakes and shovels, you give Nantucket youths the tools to break new ground. Students work together to cultivate a garden, learning how to collaborate and problem solve, building self-confidence and other important tools for attaining life goals.
$50 ~ Seedlings
Give the gift of seedlings that transform from lessons in the garden to healthy meals on students’ plates. Your gift will also support the time and energy costs associated with growing and nurturing seedlings in the greenhouse.
