Meet Our Summer Team!

3 interns together
Sustainable Nantucket has 4 new members of our summer team, just in time for the start of the SN Farm to School Summer Program and the Market!
Please join us in welcoming:
Holly Hoffman (pictured center) is this year’s Farm to School Summer Program Coordinator. Holly is a graduate of the University of Vermont where she studied Social Work and Special Education. This will be Holly’s 22nd summer on Nantucket! What drew her to Sustainable Nantucket was the ability to combine her passions for youth and natural world in a way that allows her to give back to a place that was so instrumental in her own childhood.

Eliza Mongeau (pictured left) is this year’s Farm to School Apprentice. Eliza is a 2016 graduate of Smith College where she received a double majored in Anthropology and Italian Studies with a concentration in Sustainable Foods. Originally from Saint Croix, Eliza appreciates the essential nature of a strong local food system. Eliza looks forward to continuing her experience in working with F2S and teaching others about agriculture and the importance of locally-sourced food.

Victoria Crenshaw (pictured right) is this year’s Food Justice/SNAP/WIC Intern and CFI Apprentice. Victoria is a recent grad of Vanderbilt University majoring in Sociology with a minor in Environmental and Sustainability Studies. She is excited to get involved in the world of agriculture and learn from the people and the farms that feed us.

Liam Bruno (not pictured) is our Market Survey Intern. Liam is a rising junior at Wheaton College, majoring in Business Administration with a concentration on Society and the Environment. Liam designs and runs the surveys at the Market, and is excited about collecting demographic data that will allow us to improve the Market.
