  • Week 2 – Local Food – We will learn about our islands farming history as we plant heirloom seeds grown on Nantucket in the past.
  • Week 3Good Nutrition – In order for us to be healthy, our plants must be healthy too. This week we will include activities that will educate our students about how to keep out plants and their bodies healthy.
  • Week 4 – Garden Cooking – Students will harvest their own crops to make delicious and nutritious meals.
  • Week 5 – Dirt! – Our young farmers will get a little dirty as learn all about soil, compost, and the insects that make soil so special.
